Please vs. Help!!
Hi there! We are having a hard time with our daughter’s name. We want to honor three women, Josephine, Barbara, and Dorotea; but we are unsure of how to do so. We know two of them will be used as middle names but not really sure how to incorporate the third! We were thinking a variant of the name/name with similar sound or meaning, do you have any ideas? Thank you so, so much! -Annie T. (If this makes no sense at all, I’m sorry, please say so and I’ll try to explain better)

I like the idea of Josie but I don’t really see it aging well; I’m not a fan of Bobbie (all boy to me) or Dorothy sorry!

I like the idea behind Teara but it’s not our style and we are definitely using two middle names, all three of our sons do and so will this little girl, sorry!

We can’t/won’t be using an exact name for the first name, it has to be a variant/similar sounding or meaning name. Trudy is all right, a little too dated for me though and it doesn’t flow with our last name due to the alliteration, sorry!

Only the first name will be a variant, the middle names must be the exact name. Dorotea is pronounced do-ro-tee-ah. Arabella is nice, I don’t love it, but it is an option!

Pharbara and Truth are too out there for our style and I have an extremely bad association with the name Brianna, sorry! Please remember, the middle names have to be the EXACT name and the first name can only be a variant or similar sounding/meaning!

Bella has become annoying popular in our area on its own, if not for that I would love the name! Phoebe is also a nice name but there has always been something about it that stops me from really wanting to use it, sorry!
I’m extremely sorry if I seem rude everyone! It’s very hard to find something that fits our style and what we are looking for with the three names!

What are some names you like other than those names? Just so we can get an idea what your naming "style" is.
