Baby names vs. Ideas compromise
Pregnant with our first baby!!! My husband comes from a traditional Hispanic family, and wants out baby to have a traditional Hispanic name. But I’m not very convinced as I’ve always had set names I’ve liked for babies, and don’t know if I want to change these ideas even though its his tradition he wants to keep. What do you all think we should do? Hispanic? My ideas? Some sort of compromise? Thanks for any help.

Depends on what the names are -- there are some very lovely traditional Latin names, imo.

You should both definitely compromise, pick one of your names and one Hispanic name and use them as a first and middle name (you could even do two middle names which I personally love). You could even look at some of the names you’ve always had in mind and see if you like the Hispanic form of it... There’s lots of beautiful Hispanic names so I’m sure you wont have a problem finding one you really love. Here are some of my favorites (it’s a long list!!)...
