Thoughts vs. On vs. Jane?
Hi! I’m considering the name Jane ’Janey’ for my daughter but I’m not sure whether to use it or not. Is it too plain and old fashioned? I’m not a fan of modern names but is it too boring compared to the monstrosities such as Nevaeh and McKinley? All opinions, good or bad, will be very useful! I will either use Jane as a first name, or not at all. I won’t use it as a middle name. Thanks!

I don’t consider it a good classic name.
It reminds me of a very plain girl with round specs in oldfashioned books and comics.

I think it’s short and sweet. It’s not used as much anymore, so I think you should go for it if you love it.
