Ashton is a boys name, however you spell it. Ashlyn is nice though.

Ashtin and Ashtyn makes you look illiterate so Ashton if you are going to use the name, but I do also prefer Ashlyn on a girl.

its a boys name yes, but y is the most femine letter in the alphabet, and different spellings dont make u "illiterate" all names have a bunch of spellings, becouse they are derived from other words, u have to be illiterate to not know that. its fine with a y if ure set on nameing ure daughter that, every other spelling is masculine. but i would consider the more femine versions of that particular name like ashley ashlyn, but its not like ure nameing her poppy so i ohnestly have no complaintes i hope i helped!
