PLEASE vs. Help vs. Me!!

Hey everyone! I am expecting my husband and my’s first little girl and I have a serious problem. My husband is dead set on naming her "Princess" since this will be his only daughter/his only princess. Princess is not a suitable name for a human being; but I can’t change his mind on anything. I was thinking maybe if I could find a name that sounds super princess-y (if that’s a word?) that would work. I don’t want anything that’s too boring/common/predictable (Elizabeth or Catherine for example) but I don’t want anything that’s too out there or crazy (like Princess). Can you think of anything?! Evangeline, Genevieve, Aurelia, and Aurora are beautiful, I love them!! Penelope is also adorable but it happens to be my niece’s name!

My husband calls our only daughter princess so he could call her princess at home but she can have a real name.

That’s what I’ve been saying to him, but he still insists on Princess. Ugh, Lord help me!

Amelia, Gwendolyn, and Anastasia are beautiful! As said above, love Penelope as well but it is my niece’s name; and I think Daniella would be a tad too close to my name.

Briar Rose is the Brother’s Grim version of sleeping beauty. It’s means thorned rose. Also Brielle, Arabella, Penelope, and Ella are all pretty and princessy names

And that’s nice for you, Mercedes, but I will not be naming my daughter a word or title. So please either give suggestions like I had originally asked for or please do not comment ans I don’t want this to go completely off topic or get into an argument. I already do that enough with my husband.

Maybe you could mention to your husband that she’s HIS princess, not the whole world’s. When she’s older, does he really want every guy she meets to call her princess? Shouldn’t that be something special between the two of them?

You pretty much just recited most of my argument! I’ve said the same things and I’ve gotten to the point where I’m going to find names on my own and make a list and he can either choose one or I might just have to do it on my own (I hope it doesn’t come to that though). Why are men so stubborn?

I’m not sure which name I’m going to choose! You guys have given me so many great suggestions! I think I may make another poll to narrow it down a bit
