Old Fashioned vs. Yet vs. Modern

I know it seems like an oxymoron, but my SO loves more modern/tad on the trendy side names but I love old fashioned names! Do you have any ideas that could possibly work for both of us? We are using Leanne as a middle name, which cannot change due to its meaning to us. Thank you for helping! ~Noreen

Sophia and Olivia are very popular and modern while also being older names. Sylvia is similar to those names, but not as popular

Avalon is similar to Ava, but more trendy and less common.

Kenna is a legit older female form of Kenneth. It also has some of the elements of newer, trendier names.

We both kind of like Charlotte! I also like Jacquelyn, but it’s too old for my SO and the other names are too unisex or trendy for me

Sophia is one of my ultimate favorite names, but my SO doesn’t like it. I also like Sylvia but SO doesn’t like it either. Avalon and Kenna are too trendy sounding for me (Kenna kind of reminds me of a dog, to be honest). Sorry, but thanks for some ideas!

We both really like Astoria and Isla! We both kind of like Esme and Juliet too

We Lucy but it doesn’t work with the baby’s last name (or middle name to me), and we are still not completely sure about Charlotte, but it’s one we’re keeping in mind! Almost all the others you suggested, Sadie, I love but my SO doesn’t.

We both really like Isla!

McKenna and Mackenzie are boy names to me, I’d never use them for a girl (same with Madison), but of course those are the ones my SO loves! I love Beatrice, but my SO doesn’t.

I love Alice but my SO doesn’t. Right now, our favorite two are Astoria and Isla; but we also like Esme, Juliet, and Genevieve a lot too

My personal style is kinda modern-but-classic, so I thought it was pretty close to what you and your SO are trying to compromise at. Hope it’s helpful! If you don’t like my names though, I strongly suggest Isla. :)
