Analisa Megan vs. Annalisa Megan

We have a problem with our daughter’s name. We want to pronounce it Ahna-lisa, so we figured Analisa would be the better spelling - but - then the name contains a word that we don’t want her teased for. We could spell it Annalisa, but then people are likely to pronounce it wrong. Megan is for my elder sister, and our last name is pronounced kurr-ing. What should we do?

It took me a while to find the bad word and I’m 14! I don’t think it should be a problem.

You’re putting way much thought into a nonissue. Use the spelling you prefer.
