Dylan Aria vs. ??

My husband loves boys names for our daughters and I’m okay with that as long as they have the option of a girly nickname or a middle name. We have three daughters Carson Marie (9) , Elliot Isabelle (7) and Billie Jasmine (4). What do you think of the name Dylan Aria? I think it might be a bit to masculine to get away with but I do love it. What is your view ?

Its a bit late to start worrying about masculinity now, all your girls have boys name so its not like you could give a pretty girls name now.

Dylan is cute on a girl. The nickname Dyl is cute. Aria is cute. Its perfect. Would you consider selling is Dillon to make it more feminine?

Yes I would like to change the spelling but not so much that it looks made up. I like the spelling Dillon. Thank You ~ Poll Poster

I have a cousin named Dylan Jane. They call her Deej or DJ alot.

Its very masculine, not a feminine nickname for it either so no girly options for her.

Honestly I think its awful but like poster 2 said given your other girls have such masculine names its not like you could call her something feminine.

I’d say no to Dylan. I agree that after 3 girls, you can’t really switch to feminine names, but I think Dylan means something like ’Son of the Sea’, so, IMO, it’s weird to name your daughter ’son’ IYGWIM? My honest opinion - yes, Dylan is much too masculine to get away with.

You can use a unisex name, just NOT Dylan:

Jules Aria
Quinn Aria
Blaine Aria
Taite Aria
