Emlyn Elizabeth vs. Vayla Beth

We want a name that will fit in for the generation, but that won’t be a common duplicate name. What do you think of these? I have a very common name, which may be why I like these so much, but I know I ’m not the one who will have to live with the name.

Vayla! Emlyn is a Welsh boys name.

Thanks for your feedback. I didn’t know if people would know that about Emlyn because it is uncommon. We found it on a baby name site as a girl name, but under the meaning it explained that it was originally for boys. Do you like Vayla, or just prefer it? We pretty much made it up and we like it, but we don’t want it to sound too sci-fi or like we’re trying too hard.
