Mercury Rose vs. Melody Rose

Baby girl due September 29th, everyone in my family has a kind of different name so something like Mercury would fit, but I also like Melody and it’s slightly more common, but I’d just like opinions please, no abuse or rudeness for simply suggesting names that I like, thank you x

I do like Mercury Rose but realistically it would only work in a film or a book or something, not in the real world. Melody Rose is very pretty though so you should use that. GL x

Poster 2 you can shut your rude behind up. Mercury Rose is a [removed] cool name, and to avoid any problems when she gets older she could just go by Mercy or Rose. Problem solved.

These 2 names require very different personalities. Mercury would need a strong personality and a desire to be different, challenge the norm.
Melody is a soft and delicate name.

I voted for Melody Rose because although I think Mercury is cool I don’t think it should actually be used on a real child. Also to me it sounds quite masculine. Also, I love the name Melodie.

How about Elodie? It’s more unique than Melody and less out there than Mercury.
