It looks and sounds wrong to me, like you are trying to do something creative with Emerson or Emery.

I believe you that it is a name. But it looks like a misspelling to me like you left the s out of Emersyn or you accidentally put a n at the end of Emery.

I love Emeryn! Imet a little girl named that, but spelled Emryn. Emerine would also be a pretty spelling! God bless you!
It looks like it should be Emersyn but you forgot the S

Certainly better than Emerson or Emery. I would like Erin or Maryn/Marin(pro Ma-RIN) better though.

Historically it is a boy’s name from Emmeram (Old French) and Emerich or Emeric (Scandinavian). A more common spelling is Emeran. A related name, Emerson means "son of Emeran", but has been used for boys and well as girls in the US since we’ve forgotten its origin meaning “son”.

My 8 yr old daughter’s name is Emeryn, and I thought I made the name up! Surprisingly, I see I didn’t. And she is a fast "swift" lovely daughter.

Emeryn does not mean "swift". Please use reliable sources. From Old Irish éim meaning "swift, prompt" yields the masculine name, Éimhín. In Gaelic the 'mh' is said like the English 'v'. The feminine of this name is Eimhear, also anglicized as Emer, but still said with a long E in the first syllable.
Emeryn would be a spelling of Emeran a Norman name that became Emery. This is a male name, but the related name Emery is now used more for girls in the U.S.
Emryn is a similar sounding name, but with two syllables. It is related to Emrys, Welsh from Ambrose meaning immortal. Also a male name, in recent years, although still rare, it has begun to be used as a femine form of Emrys in the U.S.
I can source to published Welsh, Scottish, and Irish name books, which is where I first saw these names. However, you can also look these up at "behindthename" website.
