I also don’t like Riley for a girl. And don’t feel like you need to use Elizabeth just because everyone else did.

I’m not sure what the "everyone else did" comment meant about elizabeth. But I happen to like the name Riley ALOT. and I think it’s beautiful with Elizabeth. Riley Sophia is pretty as well.

I think Riley Elizabeth has a nice ring to it plus it goes with your family tradition. If you don’t want to follow the tradition then don’t. Riley is a good unisex name.

Sohpia is WAY to popular! I’m tired of hearing on all these little girls. Riley is unisex and gorgeous on a little girl! I say go for it! It’s lovely and different and so refreshing.

Riley is NOT different on a girl. I know of 5 kids under the age of 4 with that name.
2= Riley
2= Rylee
1= Ryleigh

(And I DON’T work at a daycare.)

I think Sophia Riley is gorgeous. Unless the family tradition is important to you and you love the name Elizabeth (which is a beautiful name), I wouldn’t use it.

Riley Sophia is my daughter’s name. I see there are many viewpoints on the subject and I find it to be a charming name.
