How To Honor Benjamin vs. On A Baby Girl???

Recently I lost both my brother and father in a car accident and they were named Benjamin and I was hoping to honor them with my baby. Then I found out I was expecting a girl and it became really hard to. My DH is all for honoring them and her middle name will be Evette after his mom. Please give me a way to honor my brother and dater they meant the world to me and I could not chose ether men to name my daughter after. Thanks -Jasmine (&Carter)

You could do...
Jasmine sounds like a female version of Benjamin, similar letters...
Jamima
Mina (Me-nuh)
Vanya (Veniamin is a variant of Benjamin)
Brenna
Jamie
Minnie
Bernadette, but it’s kind of a stretch.
Good luck!

Well I wouldn’t do anything like Benjamina, but Mina would be pretty and unique.

Trying to think but it’s not so easy - Benjamin means ’Son of God’s right hand’ so I tried to find a girls name with Daughter for that meaning but I don’t think there is one. See if you can find any other Benjamin meanings, other wise just play with some of the letters:

Jemina covers 6 out of the 8 letters and is actually a nice name I think.

Idea 1
Pull benjamin apart and use part of it... Jami, or Ami

Idea 2 Jumble the letters
Jamie, Amie, Emma (sure extra M), Jen, Jeni, Jena, Annie, Anne, Jan, Jane, Jean

Idea 3 Use the feminine form
Benjamina (personally I hate this one)

Idea 4 Middle Names?
Maybe their middle names will help.

Idea 5 Ask your mom if she remembers any names your dad liked for you or your brother if he had been a girl. Maybe one of them would be nice.

Jamin from the second half of Benjamin. This may be better as Jasmin or Jasmine. Sorry for your loss, hope your baby will be a blessing.

I was thinking Jamina Evette but I am not sure.

To ideas 4/5: My fathers middle name was Jacob and my brother’s Wyatt, which neither have female forms. If my brother had been a girl his name would have been Jasmine Danica, and my fathers favorite girl name was Wilhelmina which I dont like (and neither did my mother thank the lord!) so I don’t think I would use it. But my brother he always said if he had a girl her name would be Grace which I think is cute but a tad overused.

I\’m so sorry about your brother and father....
You could name her Benita (it means beautiful in Spanish). It\’s pronounced \" ben nee ta\". The nickname for Benita is Benni

I saw you said you didn’t like willimina buy what about just Willa.

Willa Evette?
Wendy or Winnie instead of Wyatt ?
You can do 3 names to honor grace also.

You will find the right fit.

I like Benita but I don’t know if I should use it considering we are not spanish. I am also considering Benni-Grace Evette. I know plenty of girls with manly first names so I don’t think Benni would be an issue.
