Which spelling for vs. Caoilainn (Kay-lin)

I’m having trouble finding which spelling to use for the irish girl name Caoilainn (pronounced Kay-lin). I saw on one website that the irish angelicized spelling is Kalin, but would people think it was pronounced cal-in? There are so many ways you could spell this (Kaelyn, Cailyn, Caylin, etc), but I really don’t want it to look made up or overly trendy. And I can’t use the original Gaelic spelling because there would be no hope where I live! What spelling do you think would be best? Thank you!

I wish more people knew how to say names with their original Gaelic spellings =( Most of them look so much better than an alternative one.

I think Kaylin or Caylin would be your best choice. Whenever I see Cai- or Kai- I can only seem to say it Ky instead of Kay

Kaylin or Kaelin. I love Gaelic names, but this one is adorable, but too hard too pronounce.

Don’t get too silly with the spelling and cuse her a ton of grief!!!
