Slightly vs. Exotic

Hi everybody! My boyfriend and I are looking for names that could be considered "slightly exotic". For us, that means names that are exotic/uncommon but not too out there and weird. We do not like boy names for girls or overdone, crazy spellings. Do you have any suggestions (only first names)? Thank you! ~Lina & Liam

I have a good friend named Katherine so Katarina is a little too close for me and neither of us like Kaliana, sorry!

I forgot to mention 2 things: 1) We do not like made-up names and 2) We need suggestions for both genders!

I’ve never been a fan of Leilani (and Liam isn’t too thrilled over it either), or most other Hawaiian names I’ve heard, sorry!

We like Anastasia! We also like Liliana but we don’t really want to use L names because we find "themes" extremely tacky/trashy (sorry to anyone who likes "themed names")

The tree is the only thing that comes to mind when I see Acacia; not that it’s necessarily a bad thing but I just don’t want to always have that pop into my head when I say my child’s name, sorry!
