Lena.
My best friend’s name is Lena. I don’t think she’s had any problems with pronunciations.
The others look misspelled.

Lena is the only way to spell it, the other’s are mispelled and she won’t have problems with pronunciation.

Lena Madeline
Lena Kate
Lena Brooke
Lena Madison

I would honestly go with Lina. I have met people with the spelling Lena and it has been pronounced Lay-nuh. Lina is really straightforward to me.

The issue of Lena being Lay-nuh is what I was worried about. I just love the spelling so much more than Lina. This is so difficult!

I was going to vote for Lena, but I went with Leena instead. I would be concerned that people would pronounce Lena Len-a.

Really go with whatever way you like best. I have always hade the issue of people misspelling my name my entire life. My name may not be Lena, Leena, or Lina in fact its not even close. My name is Shari and personally I love the way my name is spelled and think that everyone else is silly. Whatever way you go with will sound perfectly normal to the child so go with what you like and don’t worry about it. :0þ

My daughter name is Malena Kay and people called her Lena for short, you need a short name to go with it.May God Bless you and your family always.

I’m just adding to this old poll that Lina is an Arabic name meaning "tender" and it is pronounced [lee nah], so to say that this is a misspelling is actually wrong.

Lina is best than Lena

My name is lena and i swear, it's really not that much trouble to correct someone saying layna. most people won't mispronounce it twice. if they do, you're teaching your kid good assertive skills!

Lol I know it's been more than 10 years since this question was asked but for people who are now googling this - in Russian Lena is a common short form from Elena and it is pronounced as Lay-nuh. I would go with Leena if you want to 100% avoid spelling mistakes, this is the only one I would actually read as Leena :)

My due date will be in February and I am going to name my third princess Leena for two reasons. To avoid her name be misspelled and to match 5 letter name with her two sisters since each of her older sisters has 5 letter name. I think its basically how people want the name of their children be written same as Brian and Bryan, Hellen and Helen, and so on. Good luck.
