Girl vs. Names

Hey, my husband and I want to honor our mothers by using their name as our daughter’s middle name! Both of them are named Sylvia, but we can’t seem to find that perfect name that flows with it. We really love old fashioned, vintage names, do you have any ideas for us? Thanks! ~Coraline and Cory

We like Vivienne & Josephine! I also like Estelle and Winifred but my husband doesn’t like how Estelle Sylvia sounds and he’s not a fan of Winifred

Silvia is one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE NAMES!! So pretty, delicate and feminine! To go with it may I suggest one of these 5:

We like Adelaide and Beatrice!

All of our friends find out names pretty funny and call us "the Cory’s" or just "Cory". While we like Cordelia, we don’t really want to start a theme as we want to have more children and don’t want to worry with the mess that comes with themes. Also, the spelling of Sylvia needs to stay as we have it as that is how both of our mothers spell it.

Amber Sylvia--- Amber isn’t really old-fashioned, vintage, but it flows really well with Sylvia. Also, the meanings are quite lovely together and create an image of an autumn forest.
