confused! need vs. some opinions, vs. and thoughts?

ok, so ive been polling a lot. going through names, gathering info, and my delema is this. I love the name ariel I would prefer the spelling areale. but everyone says she will get made fun of ect... because my last name is fishman. and my 2 daughters are red heads. so my question is this, should I just start looking more? or will it be ok??? and if I make ariella her mddl name what should her first name be??? im so confused...

There’s nothing wrong with Ariel Fishman. In fact it will be memorable which is a good thing, especially for resumes and such in the future. Use it!

I don’t like Areale and Ariel reminds me of Ariel Castro! But Ariella would be a nice middle name!

I think any girl named Ariel with red hair might hear some jokes in her life... so If you really like it use it. She’s still better off than with Merida.

if I were to go with ariel my hubby likes Areale Aaliyah fishman.... (I’m native American, he’s Israeli but ower children are red heads...) to give u a clear image... my oldest has pale blue eyes red blonde hair. my youngest has the same hair as merida from brave. long thick lashes and big green eyes any thoughts now that u have a clear image? -poster

Don’t spell it Areale, then she really will get teased. Ariel Fishman is fine, just put something nice in the middle.

Why don’t you just name her Ariella? That’s a good mix, and it’s a form of the Hebrew Ariel. It’s pretty, and you can call her Ari. I’m sure a red headed Ariella would be beautified, not made fun of. I think Tory, Tarrah and Ariella is cute too. It would make both you and your husband happy. How about:

Ariella Aaliyah Fishman is lovely.
Ariella gets rid of it the Ariel teasing and is a nice mix of heritages.
Areale will not be said Ariel, it looks like Are-ail. Ariella is much nicer.

Areale looks like A-real-e nothing like Ariel. Plus she will have to say to everyone no I spell it like this.... I know a little girl who has to do that with her name and you can see the frustration on her face every time she has to do it. It is easer on the child spelling and pronunciation wise just to spell it correctly.

Along with the spelling and pronunciation issues, Areale also reminds me of areola. I wouldn’t want that teasing.
