Baby Name Poll Results

Vintage vs. and vs. Pretty
Hey everyone! We are starting over on the naming process for our daughter and we really need help. We originally had two names picked out, but after much criticism from friends and family we are having to scratch both names and start over. However, we just can’t find anything! We want something that has a vintage and pretty feel to it. Do you have any suggestions? At this time, we are only focusing on first names so please do not give full name combinations. Thank you all for your suggestions! —Sarah and Stanley

Just wondering...what names did you have picked out?
It could help me see the style you like and suggest something similar but to fit the new parameters :)

We like the name Isabel, Vivian, Margaux/Margo/Margot, Bellamy, Rose, Liliana, and Ella! Can you think of any other full names for Rose? We like the idea of a longer name but we don’t like how overused Rosalie has become and we aren’t too fond of the sound of it.
Our style is vintage/old fashioned (as somewhat stated in our poll). Our original two names were Ingrid and Orchid.

I want to start off by saying I adore the name Ingrid! Ah, I would definitely use it if the hubby was on board. I think that you two should name your baby and not let the family dictate....but if you insist on starting over here are my suggestions:

Matilda
Madeleine

Sorry for delayed responses!! Our computer has been acting up all day!
We like Rosalind, Imogen, Helene (but worried about pronunciation with it), Ophelia, Hattie (love this!), Josephine (prefer Josephine to Josephina), Maeve, Ada (prefer Ada to Ida), Cecilia, Amara, Matilda, Adele, Beatrice, and Miriam! Seraphina is nice as well but I don’t like how the beginning of it is my name but spelled slightly different.
If their responses to us would have been just they didn’t like the names it wouldn’t have bothered us but because of some of the reasons and things the were saying about Ingrid and Orchid, we really couldn’t use them anymore at this point.

We like Esther, Georgia (prefer Georgia to Georgette), Millie (prefer Millie to Mellie), Leonie, Opal, and Beatrice! We also like Penelope, Seraphina, and Scarlett but we can’t use Penelope, and we don’t really want to start an S theme (also we have an issue with the beginning of Seraphina being my name)
