Finnegan vs. Finnian vs. Finley
Which do you like best for a little boy? I love Finley but worry about the rising popularity for girl Finley’s too. My husband’s first pick is Finnegan but I don’t know if that sounds a little too irish as we live in California (although he is Irish-American). Please pick your favorite!

I like Finlan best but would go with Finnian out of your choices - I would avoid Finley due to it being unisex now.

My son’s name is Finnegan who we call Finn so i am in love with this name. Finley is also nice but I wouldn’t use it because of girls with the name. I have never heard of the Finnian version. Finnegan! Finnegan!

Finnegan would be my first choice. Finnian would be my second choice, but it reminds me too much of Phineas, and I want to say that instead.
I don’t really like Finley for ether boys or girls. It’s a little too feminine for boys and a little to masculine for girls.
Love Finnegan though.

Finley is not good for either gender. Too boyish for a girl and too girly for a boy now. Finnegan reminds me of a schnouzer who lives in the apartment next door. It suits him better than a child. Finnian or Finlan would be wonderful though.
