Bentley Skyler vs. "Teen-Momish" vs. Okay

For my son I was thinking of naming him Bentley. Now wait a minute before judging, Bentley was my mother’s maiden name and I always thought it would make a cute name. Skyler is my husband’s middle name so it will not change. But if I shouldn’t use Bentley give me a suggestion? I have been thinking of Bennett Skyler also. Thanks -Gabby & Ryan

To be honest, it sounds really teen-momish, but since it’s sentimental, I can’t really say no to it. Maybe use Skyler as the first name and Bentley as the middle. You maybe Kyler or Kyle as the first name.

Adore the name Bentley! I don’t think it’s ’teen-momish’ on the slightest, I think of Bentley as a very gentlemanly, classy name, I love it!

Love Bentley! The only teen mom names I can think of are McKenzie and Kayleigh or Brinley or just poorly spelt names. Bentley isn’t a teen mom name just because one teenage mom called her son that, my friend was a teen mom and she names her daughter Victoria, that can’t be described as a teen mom name and neither is Bentley IMO

I’m not sure why Bentley is considered a teen-mom name; it always makes me think of the character Bentley Gregg from the 50s/60s sitcom Bachelor Father. I also think it sounds classy and very handsome. I really like Bentley and I don’t think it sounds teen-momish at all! It’s also sentimental, so that’s an added bonus! I’ve always heard Skyler on girls so it sounds somewhat strange to my ear to hear it on a boy, but I don’t have anything against it; I think it’s fine! :-)

I only know one Bentley personally. I like it. I also like it since it comes from a family name.
But if you decide against it I also like
Beckett or Brantley. Those are similar to Bentley.
