Alexandra nn Lexi vs. and vs. Elizabeth nn Libby

Are these good names for g/g twins? Our surname is Wolfe. We thought that Lexi and Libby sound great for twins but my sister pointed out that she thinks the names don’t ’go’ together well enough so wdyt? Thanks a lot! Kieran and Tamsin

I don’t think the longer names go well together but the nick names do so I would just scrap the longer names.

My only input is that I prefer Alexandra without the nickname Lexi. On the other hand, I quite like Libby as a nickname for Elizabeth.

Thanks but we don’t like the middle name suggestions and we feel like they need longer, more professional names. Thanks!

I hate the nn Lexi. Alexandra and Elizabeth make an alright sibset and Libby is one of my favorite nicknames!

I like the set Alexandra and Elizabeth - they are both long, classic names.

I would probably choose the nicknames Alex and Liz, but I don’t think nicknames are that important, as the nickname chosen by the family is not necessarily the same one used by friends, and again can be different from how the person is known professionally. You’ve made a good choice in giving your girls names that are pretty and age well.

I am not keen, sorry, on either the names or nicknames.
You both have lovely names but these first names are very boring in comparison.
Do you like any other names?

I agree with previous poster and think there are prettier classic names you could choose.

Helena
Caroline
