I think there are more names I associate with the South than with the North.

For example on Southern names:
Wyatt
Jackson
Rhett
Beau

As in the US? Probably. But only stereotypically. Southern is more hick, like boys names like Billie or Stevie Rae for girls and Wyatt or Brett for boys. Northern, unfortunately, is more "modern", which includes teen mom names, like Nevaeh, and overly popular names like Olivia and Ella. Honestly, neither one appeals to me. I’d much rather go to England to pick names :p (I’m American, btw).

I think of southern names being Wyatt, Wesley, Weston, Tanner, Ryder, River, Cash, Sadie, Hattie, Lula Mae, Lylah, Lucy...

Idk about Northern specific names. But Southern names are just more... southern/western feeling. And some times old fashioned names like Vivian, Grace, Maggie, Theodore, Thomas, and William sound more southern.

It seems a lot of the times southern names are something like Mary-Beth or Ellie-Jo you do see some double middle names in the north but not as many.

It’s not really South .vs. North, it really is more of Country .vs. City names
Examples:
Scarlett .vs. Sophia
Taylor .vs. Isabella
Levi .vs. Noah
Billy .vs. Vincent

I feel like it doesn’t matter. I am from the south, and Cori is unusual for a girl in either the north or the south! its what YOU prefer! People aren’t going to hear your kids name and think, "Ew, that name is so... Northern..." or the opposite. lol what names have you thought of that you liked?
