Alternate vs. to vs. Ruby

Hello! My husband and I are expecting our 3rd child, and first daughter. I absolutely love the name Ruby, and have since I was a little girl. Here is our dilemma: our last name is Diamond! I just cannot seem to find a name that I adore as much as Ruby! Please help! Any and all suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance - Chris and Brittany

That is a real shame. Ruby Diamond just wouldn’t work! I also love Ruby and plan to use it- so far we have 2 boys and another on the way!

What a great surname! But I agree you can’t have a Ruby Diamond!

Scarlett Diamond would be cute, if you wanted to keep with a colour...?. Maybe you can tell us your other children’s names and focus on choosing something to fit in with them?

Thank you for all the great suggestions! I like Heidi, Emma and Maisie and although I also like Scarlet, we are trying to steer clear of word-names. Our sons names are Christopher Michael (Jr.) and Luke Francis. Also, I forgot to add her middle name will be Patricia to honor my grandmother
