Baby Name Poll Results

please help vs. us name vs. our baby!
We posted a poll earlier, but didn’t get much response, so we’re trying again. My husband and I are expecting our first, and we’re very excited. We don’t know the gender of the baby yet, so we’re looking for names for both genders. We have a couple of ideas that I’ll post in a comment. What do you think of them? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks! ~Caroline

Not too sure about these names.
Perhaps it is time to start a new trend. I suggest you think of some names you both really love and go from there.

Boys name is fine. Rountree is ok for a middle. Chalmers for a first is not all that great.

For a boy, we’re thinking about using Addison for his middle name. Addison has been the middle name of choice for the first-born son for six or seven generations. We also thought about possibly Charles as his first name, since it’s a family name on both sides.
Girls:
Possibly my maiden name, Rountree, as a middle name. Or maybe something that sounds similar to my husband’s first name, Chalmers (or just Chalmers). We don’t want to use Elizabeth or Caroline immediately, as we both have many, many relatives with those names.
Our last name is Bledsoe. Thanks again!
