Itati vs. thoughts?

Hey everyone, have any of yiu heard the name Itati? It’s a female name, which I heard at my children’s school. The young girl with the name is Hispanic but I don’t think the name itself is. Anyhow, does anyone know what it means, and why do you like or dislike it? Thanks, Denise

Itati is kinda Hispanic, in that its ties lie in South America, specifically in the Guarani language. The name "Guarani" is used to refer to the general language of Paraguay, but it’s really part of what is known as a dialect chain, with most of its components also being referred to as Guarani.

Itati means "white rock", and the pronunciation I’ve heard is "I-TAY-TEE." I think it’s unique, refreshing, and quite pretty. I’d definitely consider it.
