I think that Jude is a boy’s name. What about June instead? It’s super beautiful and very similar!

Judith with nick name.... to short and to plain for her name I’m sure she may grow to hate it... by giving her a longer name with a nn win and she’ll have more room to pick which she likes as she gets older

My grandmother was Julia, but always went by Jude so it totally works for me.

I love Jude for a girl! We would have named our daughter Judith nn Jude if my cousin hadn’t named her son that!

It’s rude to give boy names to girls. It’s rude to all the boys out there named Jude for you trying to make their name a girl’s name, and rude to your daughter who has to go through life with a boy’s name.

I love Jude for a boy. I’d hate to see it become a girls name. I feel so bad for all the little boys out there who have to share names with girls because the girls parents decided they wanted to be "unique" and give them a masculine name. I can imagine it would be rather embarrassing for them in primary school. They might get teased for having a "girly" name. Please think of all the little boys named Jude before you stick it on a girl.

I know a girl Jude, in her 40’s. She hates her name and constantly being mistaken for male.
