Easy vs. Russian vs. Names!
Hey, our first child is coming soon & we still haven’t found names! My husband is from Russia and it’s very important to him that we use Russian names, however I still want them to be easy to pronounce in English since we live in the United States. We are using Vladimir and Natalia as middle names (after a few family members). Do you know of any names that fit what we are looking for? Thanks, Ilya and Ellie

We like the names Roman and Sasha! I’m just slightly worried that since we live in the United States that using Sasha for a boy wouldn’t be the best idea; would it be fine or should we try to avoid it?

Sasha is very much a girls name here, sorry. I knew a little boy named Sasha when I was younger and always felt so bad for him because he had a girly name.
