Hennessy vs. ? vs. ?

My boyfriend and I really like the name Hennessy. We are wondering if there are any other spellings out there?? Also if you could suggest middle names, both for a girl or a boy. Thank you for your help!

Go for it if you like it! I would just keep the spelling. I know a little girl named Hennessy Ilianna which I thought was so cute. Or what about....

Thank you to the two that posted what I was asking. :) I do like Hennessy Walker for a boy and Hennessy Elaine or Kate for a girl sounds good too...Hennessy Elise maybe??

I’ve never heard that name before, but I dont think it’s bad. Maybe google it and look for alternative spellings.

I would stick with the actual surname spelling of Hennessy and agree that a two-syllable middle name sounds best. For a girl, I would look for a feminine sounding middle name such as Lily or Ellen. From the above suggestions I like Hennessy Franklin for a boy.

My daughters name is Hennessy Mariel =) We call her Henny for short.

We have a beautiful daughter named Hennessey- we get lots of compliments on her name. Ps also means "Genesis" in Spanish.

My daughters name is Hennessy Jordan. I get constant compliments. Chosen for the same reason as you.. Beautiful irish name :). I hope you chose it as well. So excited to know other Hennessy’s are out there.

This is a family surname for me. We spell it Hennessee. I love this name, hope I can talk my husband into it :)
