My niece is named Lochlyn Elizabeth and she gets compliments on it all the time!! Most think it can only be used for a boy but I think it is a beautiful unique name for a girl. I like the spelling Locklyn or Lochlyn.

Just checking, but you are using this on the correct gender...right? If so, Lachlan is definitely the best spelling. If you’re using it for a girl just...don’t.

Lachlan (which, the original spelling is the best spelling) is NOT a girl name at all.
Lachina is the feminine form
Lachina is the feminine form

Putting a y in it doesn’t make it a girl name. Save it for a boy.
