Iden vs. Iyden vs. Iydan
My husband and I love the name Aidan but find it too popular, so we came up with the name Iydan (Eye-den). We both love the name but we think it’s too crazy... what do you think? Thank you!

Iden would get him called Eden a lot. The others will get head scratches and tentative attempts at pronunciation. And he’ll never be able to say his name without spelling it.
Maybe put Aidan with another name as a double first name. Or use it as a middle name and call him by both.

I would try to find something different. All the -ayden names are very trendy and overused right now.
I really think you should find a name for your son that you didn’t just make up. An actual name will age better.

But if you don\’t want to use either Aidan or Caiden Iden could work, just use more of a traditional middle name, or a double first name maybe Iden- James.
