Oscar vs. Oskar

Which spelling of Oscar/Oskar is better? We’re expecting twins and have chosen the girl’s name, Mariane (my favourite name since childhood), but haven’t quite finalized the boy’s name. My husband likes the name Oskar, which I think is ok, but I prefer the spelling Oscar. I’m not sure whether to just go with Oskar because he agreed to Mariane or if Oscar really does look better next to Mariane. Middle names we’re considering are Helene, Alice, Josee and Colette for Mariane and Paul, Alexandre, Joseph and Thomas for Oscar/Oskar. Thanks! ~Eva

Oskar looks terrible. I can’t even stand to look at that. Its horrifying. For real. I like Oscar Thomas, and Mariane Colette. GL!
