Aneira vs. Yes vs. No

The CORRECT pronunciation of Aneira is: (un-eye-ra). I’m Welsh and around 75% of my family have a Welsh names, including me, Aerona. Normally in England it gets pronounced (an-ay-rah), but it’s not the correct pronunciation. Welsh speakers don’t usually say ’an’, we say ’un’ because of our accent and otherwise we just wouldn’t make sense because of how quick we actually talk. Our surname is Jones, not settled on a middle name yet! What do you think? Aneira Jones? Thanks, Aerona & Bryn Jones.

Also, pronunciation is not a problem where we live because it’s a Welsh name.
We have the typical ’Cardiff’ accent.

It’s pretty. As long as you don’t mind gently correcting people about the pronunciation, I’d definitely use it. Actually the middle syllable looks like it would be more logically pronounced the way you say (eye), as opposed to "ay".

OK, I though you were saying you live in England. So you won’t even need to correct many people. Yes, I’d use!

Thanks lovely!
No I was just making a point of saying, my brother in law is English and when we asked him and also my sister they just couldn’t seem to pronounce it properly, they just kept saying ’an-ay-ra’.
Were 100% Welsh and from Cardiff!
appreciate your lovely comment:-)
