Ollivander ? vs. What do you vs. think of this name?

I have seen Ollivander in a few polls and I have fallen in love with the name but would like some outside opinions. Do you think the name is easy enough to pronounce and spell? Do you think its teasable? Do you think its too strange or unusual? Do you think its too last namey or Harry Potterish? I really want honest opinions, both negative and positive. Thanks

I don’t like it, it seems too much like a character’s name and not like a real name. Try Oliver or Leander.

Very unusual but if you use it I would spell it with one L, Olivander.
Other options:
Evander
Oliver
Leander
Anders
Lennox

OMG YES. I’d probably only use it as a middle name though but it would without a doubt be an awesome first name. Unique (though not "kreatyve"), yet handsome. I do agree with the second poster though, I like Evander as well.

So spelling it with one L seem to be a god idea. Thank you for the suggestion. Evander is nice but I still prefer Ollivander/Olivander. Thank you.

I think it’s a nice name. Do you have a nn in mind? It’s a bit of a mouthful to use the full name always. Maybe Van, Oly, Andy. Definitely easy to pronounce, but I agree with the one L spelling - Olivander. If you love it, I see no reason not to use it!

I like either Olly or Andy for a nickname. Thanks. So far more people like it than dislike it, that makes me more confident about using it. Thank you all
