Bryce for our vs. daughter
Coincidentally, the last child in our family always seems to have a unisex name. My grandmother’s youngest sister was called Billie, my mother’s youngest brother was called Cameron and my youngest sister is called Carey. Now we are aware of this, my husband and I think it would be nice for our daughter to have a unisex name, considering that she will be our last. Our children are called Vera, Jonathan, Annie and Lucius. We are thinking of naming our last baby girl Bryce. What do you think? Other unisex suggestions welcome. Thank you~ Ezra and Libby

I’m sorry I don’t think of Bryce as unisex, only masculine.
What about Ryanne?
Darcy?
Jamie?
Blake?
Kelly?
These are names that are truly unisex, with both males and females having these names.

It could work, like on actress Bryce Dallas Howard (<--- real gender bender of a name this one)

We sort of like Jaime but there are a lot of James and Jamie’s in our extended family so it just wont work.

Keep Bryce! These people are never going to meet your daughter anyway so their opinions don’t matter. She’ll obviously be a girl when people see her and she’ll confidently say "hi, my name is Bryce". Keep the name if you love it!

Abby suggested at least 10 boy names I wouldn’t go by that list if I were you Ezra and Libby.

Also poster 8, checking my work. I went back and counted the names I suggested that I had never heard on a girl and I had 3/49(ish) that I had never heard on a girl before. Those are Zephyr, Sperry, and Ollie. Sorry to disrupt but I just wanted to make that point. Sawyer is nice but it is popular on boys. If you use Bryce, pair it with a really feminine middle name. GL!

Bryce is not unisex at all, just cruel to use it on a girl.
