Julius ? vs. Julian ?

We are definitely using either Julius or Julian for our son but we have zero middle names ideas. Since our last name is fairly common we want something a little more different but not made up. We liked Julius Brandon for a little while but then my sister named her son Braiden and we felt it was to close even though Brandon was a mn. Please tell us if you prefer Julius or Julian and which names you think would flow nicely with it and our surname, White. - R & J White.

Julius is far more attractive, I think of greek gods draped in ivy, with Julian, i think juvenile.
