Xenia vs. Ksenia vs. Yesenia

Hey, I’ve recently found myself drawn to these names, or should I say "this", as they are just different versions (Greek, Eastern European and Spanish respectively) of the same name, but sometimes...they seem to foreign (Ksenia/Yesenia) or rough (Xenia) to me. I wonder if you could think of names that have the same sound and feel to them, or maybe nicknames to these ones? Thanks!

Is the nee-ya sound you like?
Kenya? Melania?

Nicola, yes, it’s specifically the "se-nee-ya", so I guess you can say I also like the letter S beginning. I thought of Sienna as well.

Kenya is great, but I can’t help to see a black Olympic athlete lady, my bad

Hmmm, I feel like there’s a name that’s niggling the back of my head that might be perfect but I just can’t grab it.

Sienna is lovely.

Similar, kind of rhythm/sound: Selena? Serena? Alethea?

I love Ksenia!

Selena is too Disney, Alethea is somewhat too, I don’t know, ancient Greek, but Serena sounds prett good. I’ll put it on my list

I’ve also seen Satanya on these boards before? (I’m not sure why this poll is sticking in my head more than others today!)

Satanya? Not Satyana or something? Because Satanya sounds satanic!

Ha ha, I guess that is in there, I hadn’t noticed. (I think it’s pronounced Sat-ann-ya, not like Satan.) But fair enough that probably would never work if that’s the first thing that pops in your head! :)
