I love both Esmerelda and Esmeralda but Esmerelda beats Esmeralda by a tiny bit.

If you want to name your kid Esmerelda, fine. Just know that EsmerALda is the original Spanish name, and they are NOT pronounced the same. No thanks to Disney's the Hunchback of Notre Dame for getting it wrong.
