We are having a slight problem with the middle name we have chosen for our daughter. We love Winter but our families think it is horrible and tacky, even for a middle name. Her first name will be either Julia or Julienne/Julianne. Are they right about Winter or is it fine? Thank you, Bianca

I think Winter is gorgeous and carries a certain elegance; nothin’ tacky about it! Julianne Winter is a beautiful combo. Remember, it’s not your families that are naming this baby. It’s YOU! And come on, this is a middle name. They really have no argument here. Just go with what you love.

I think Winter is gorgeous. I see nothing wrong with this name, especially as a middle name. I prefer Julienne Winter of your choices.
