The vs. Perfect vs. Name

My husband and I love trendier names like Cambree, Macy, or anything that ends with lyn like Adalyn or Brooklyn. Out only problem is we don’t think they age well. We don’t want our child to be 90 years old with a name that is like ’Sophie’ or whatever. We already have two sons, Colton and Landon and as we began to talk about names for our little girl I realized neither Colton or Landon will age very well. We want the perfect name for our daughter that will she well but still fits in with our style and will go with Colton and Landon. Our daughter is due May 4. Evelyn was my first thought, too! Also, if you are really worried about a name aging well, pick a super classic with a fun nicknames. Examples:
Elizabeth - Ellie, Eliza, Libby, Lizzie, Beth, Betsey, Ebbie, Izzie
Margaret - Maggie, Molly, May, Maisie, Margo, Meg, Greta
Katherine - Kate, Katie, Kat, Kit
Josephine - Joey, Josie, Phina, Effie

My favorites are Libby, Margo, Kat, and Effie

I think what you should do is pick a name that has a good nickname to go with it. Cambria will age well, I think. And, you can call her Cambri which is a name you like for a little girl. And it works the other way too. Gracelyn is a bit more trendy and will sound a little childish as she gets older, but Grace is classic and timeless.
