Arlo Rowan James vs. Cute vs. Not cute

Hello! I am expecting my first baby boy VERY soon! I picked out a name a few months ago and told his dad what I planned on naming him. He went on to tell me that was a ugly, horrible name and that his son will not be named that. I ended up picking a new name and only told friends and family. Somehow, he found out the name and, again, told me to change it. I have finally picked another name and I am not telling anyone. It’s kind of weird to keep it a secret, so I wanted to post it here and get some outside opinions! The name I have picked is Arlo Rowan James. WDYT?! Thank you so much!

I think it’s nice! I assume the father is not involved which is why you’re not naming him together so I don’t think you should let his negativity affect your choice. It’s a strong and interesting name!

I think this name is great. If you’re not raising your son together, I don’t really see why you’d need to take his opinion into account, honestly.

I like Arlo, Rowan, and James. Would you mind sharing the previous names? I like this combination and the only person who needs to like the name is YOU.

I like it. Like the above posters, I assume his dad will not be involved in the baby’s life? If that’s so, let him say whatever he wants, find a name you like.
If he is gonna be in your child’s life, maybe consider asking him what names he likes.

The father might be in Arlo’s life, he might not. I am not sure ATM. The first time I asked him what names he liked and he said "idk just not that"

The very first name I had was Tobin Oliver and the second was River Lucian.
