Kylie(?) vs. Compromise vs. Don’t settle
My husband has his heart set on naming our little girl Kylie and I promised he could have input in naming her, but I really don\’t like the name and as much as I want him to love our daughter\’s name I want to love it just as much, should I settle as compromise is a part of marriage and I haven\’t seen him love a name as much as this and also this way I could choose a name I love for our next child or should I try to convince him to look for another name? (We can\’t use this Kylie as a middle as it\’s tradition in both of our famililies not to have a middle name) sorry for rambling, I hope this all makes sense. And good luck with finding names for your own babies.

I personally think that Kylie sounds cheap so I say don’t settle.

I have friends who just had a baby and they were in the same situation. The husband had only one name he would consider. He loved it, but my friend didn’t. My friend kept working on it and eventually they found one they both loved. GL!

I too find it cheap sounding so I wouldn’t settle either. You love each other, you love the child. You should both love the name. Its difficult sometimes to find ’the one’ but you’ll get there.
