Kohl vs. Cole vs. Kol

OR Kole? trying to incorporate my maiden name [Kohl] into my firstborn’s name [It’s a boy!]. Should we use plain Kohl, or use Kol,Kole or Cole instead, since Kohl is a type of make~up? It will be used as a middle name in all cases [Maybe Cole as a first, if we find a good middle]. Thanks

I think you should just use Kohl, since that is how your maiden name is spelled...

Kohl as a middle name, Kole as a first name. GL.

If you keep it for the middle, no need to change the spelling. If you go for a first name, then I agree Cole is best.

Cole Michael
Cole Daniel
Cole Edward
