Silly (give suggestions) vs. or vs. Fine

We had a pretty even split last night so we’re trying again. We are absolutely in love with the name Audrey but we’re not sure if it sounds silly with our last name! Do you think Audrey Cosby sounds silly? If you think it sounds silly, please leave us some other names? If you do leave other names do not give any names starting with "Aud/Audr" as we do not like any others besides Audrey. Thank you!

It sounds a little weird. What about Audra or Audrina? It sounds better with your last name and you can still call her Audrey as a nickname.

Silly might be going a little too far. But I do find it to rather sing song like. Not horrible, but not ideal either. It’s hard to think of anything to suggest without a lot to go on regarding your overall style. But Stella Cosby popped into my mind both last night and today.

Audrey has a little rhyming with your last name....Aud-REE Cos-BEE. If you don’t mind the rhyme, then use is. Audrey is such a pretty name!

We do not want other "Aud/Audr" as we have already addressed in our poll. Stella is beautiful, but we can’t use it.

We haven’t really found any other names to really define a "style" but we both want something on the classic side and one that will age well

Eva is growing on us, but we do have a close friend with a daughter named Ava so we’re not 100% on Eva

We like Lydia, Emma, and Ella, thanks! We’re noticing now, that with name that end with A they don’t really flow with the middle name we’ve decided on (Gina). Is that a big deal or no?

I’d stay away from names ending in A if Gina is to be the middle name. I do like Violet Gina Cosby, though!

Not "Silly" but it’s doesn’t flow good. Go with Audriana or Audrina and just call her Audrey.
