Dahlia my husband’s vs. choice

Hello! My husband Ben reallly loves the name Dahlia for a girl. The thing is, I’m not too keen. It’s a bit too airy fairy for me and if I was going in that direction I’d go with Alice (whimsical but still classic). Also, it reminds me of the murder of Elizabeth Short aka the Black Dahlia. It was literally the first thing I thought of when he said the name. Do you have any suggestions of other names he might love with that whimsical quality (minus the murder)? Thanks guys~ Violet

I think Dahlia is gorgeous but you should try and find a name you both love. Alice is beautiful.
