I would eliminate any pair that starts with the same letter - it s hard enough for twins to form individual personalities without having matchy names. If you really want them to match I would reverse their initials so something like Carter Luke and Levi Charles. I also really don’t like Caris or any other it looks really trendy and made up to me. GL!

Eliminate:
Leah and Olivia (Leah is a nice name but Olivia is overly popular and it’s not worth it to have 3 other Olivia’s in her class)

Caris/Charis and Andrew (I like most of the combos for BG but for some reason I can’t stand the name Andrew)

Asher and Isaac (both are fine names but not together)

I love Caris as a middle name, but as a first name the pronunciation problems make it difficult.

I love the Levi and Ezra pairing for twin boys. I love that they are the same style and feel without being too similar.

ps- so I am using Karys for my girl when she’s born, and there are many different spellings for it.

I LOVE Karys, but I do know a girl named Karis and I like that spelling too, but the original spelling is Carys, however I very much dislike Caris, and Charis with be mispronounced all the time. I would go with one of the K versions, or Carys.

You should. Your child will. I had a popular name in my class and I hated it. It was so confusing! Plus I hated going by my last initial. In my opinion, a name should be something to identify yourself with... Not yourself and five other people in your grade. Trust me, your child will care about whether she’s the only one with a name or if she’s the fifth with a name. Also, matchy names. Twins have to share a lot- a birthday, friends, don’t make them share similar names too! They need to be able to show that they’re different and matchy names don’t help.

My favorite pairings are Lila and Aria, Anna and Levi, and Carter and Luke.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Now a days there are so many different names being used that the chances of having even the most popular names in the same class are not that high. My husband is a teacher, and occasionally he gets two kids with the same name, but it’s really random and often not popular names that happen to be the same (like Pamela).

I also hate it spelled Carys. I don’t really like it with a K either. I like Charis because it’s love in Greek (if I am remembering correctly). -Kayla

I have a popular name as well. I don’t care. I know lots of twins with popular names and they don’t care. So your opinion is not necessarily the "right" one. If you would like to switch my choices around then go for it. The help would be appreciated, but I’m not going to drop a name or set of names because they’re popular/matchy. -Kayla
