Anna vs. Ana vs. Ahna
I absolutely love the name Anna pronounced Ah-na, however where we live everyone will assume it’s pronounced An-na. We would prefer to use "Anna", but are leaning towards using a different spelling if it will significantly reduce the chance of her constantly having to correct people. So, would people be more likely to pronounce Ana correctly? Would it be better to use Ahna to ensure pronunciation or just go with Anna and constantly deal with correcting people?

Americans are so confused about how to pronounce the letter "A" in names. So I think they should just change A to "Ah" in the spelling of names where they are using it that way.

Actually the pronunciation of Ana and Anna are technically the same depending on the country you are from. Since Americ is primarily a mix of many we have both pronunciations throughout our country. Regardless of which you choose she will eventually have to correct someone. Ahna I believe is the only one that you can be more sure of a pronunciation of Ah-nah. Thanks to Frozen that pronunciation is most common and the Ann-nah is going to be less said.
