Nav vs. nickname

What name could Nav be short for? I’d like to keep at least a traditional nickname this time and Nav is my sister’s nickname. If I could find a name that’s more English I’d be happy with that. With my son’s name, Ethan, I went with an entirely English name and I kind of regret that. I like that it’s an English name because growing up nobody could ever say or spell my name. I’d just like the nickname to be Nav. So any names you know that Nav could be short for? Thanks!

Thanks I kind of like Nava. Would people spell/pronounce this right? Her middle name will be either Mariam or Alina, if that helps with suggestions. Thanks!

Naava- means ’delightful/beautiful’
Nava - means ’pretty, pleasant, desirable’

Nava is very easy to pronounce, spell and remember! If you use Nava, make Miriam the middle name since Nava Alina would sound like Nava-lina with the "a"s running together in the middle.

Nava Mariam would be really lovely. I think people would be able to spell/pronounce it without any problem.

Nava means "beautiful" in Hebrew, too.
