We weren’t wanting more vs. Help us choose a name vs. Surprise Baby

My name is Emma and my husband is Jonathan. We have 3 daughters, Lauren, Hannah and Katelyn. After Katelyn was born a girl, we said no more kids. We were happy with 3, and even though we never got the boy, we didn’t want anymore kids. Katelyn is only 1, and I have been on the pill until we can get a more permenant solution. Bottom line, what happens in Vegas... doesn’t always stay in Vegas. I am now super overwhelmed with the idea of having 4 kids. This whole pregnancy has been very difficult for us. We chose a girls name, Charlotte Amelia. But, if this baby is a boy, we can’t decide. We really like names ending in "en" like: Aiden, Caden & Landen, just a few of our favorites. I have been on bed rest since 36 weeks, and I am now ony 12 days away from my due date. Any advice for a mother of 4 would be great. We are open to any name suggestions. First of all, congrats on the surprise! Just breathe honey :), and secondly I think you choose Landon and spell it the traditional way so it’s less confusing. GL!

I’m the oldest of 10 and my mom managed. I’m expecting my 7th now. I think with each baby it’s a little over whelming but you can make due. Each baby is a blessing so just love the baby and take a deep breath every once in a while. It’ll all work out fine if you let it.

I think Jason would go great with your girls!

I really like Caden! Please update us when he/she arrives. It will all be okay :)

If you think your incapable or if you truly don’t want this child put it for adoption. There’s been people trying for years. People that pray for a baby and you have the nerve to be ungrateful for this little gift to you?

I am SO grateful. It’s just, unexpected. Overwhelming.
We will love him or her so much. It’s just a matter of getting used to it.

I like the name Aidan (spelled this way, which is traditional) and I like Landon (but also spelled the traditional way). Your girls have such pretty names that I wouldn’t want to throw an invented name like Caden into the mix.
