Gwendolyn vs. Gwendolen

I absolutely love the name Gwendolyn/Gwendolen. I think there is just something magical and fairytale princess about it. However, I don’t know which way I should spell it, I think I might love the Gwendolyn spelling more but would like some opinions. Also, I need suggestions for middle names and do you prefer Gwen or Wendy as a nickname? Thank you!

Going with Gwen as the nickname, but I also like Winnie and Wenda too.

Poster 3, I actually really like Gwendolyn Mae as a name, it also gave me the idea of Maeve too. I also love Paige, Brooke, and Claire. Thank you for your suggestions they were helpful.

I prefer Gwendolen which is actually the original Welsh spelling (-lyn is masculine in Welsh).
